Terms and Conditions for ITBP Transport

Welcome to ITBP Transport, a subsidiary of Asha Logistics. We specialize in providing secure, reliable, and efficient transportation services for black metal boxes and household goods specifically designed for Indian Forces personnel across India. By using our services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. Please read these terms carefully before engaging our services.

Services Provided

ITBP Transport offers the following services:

  1. Black Metal Box Transport
    We provide transportation for black metal boxes designed to store and transport essential materials for Indian Forces personnel.
  2. Household Goods Transport
    We offer transportation services for the relocation of household goods for Indian Forces personnel.
  3. All Kind of Goods Transportaion

Weight Limit

The transportation of black metal boxes is subject to weight restrictions, as specified below:

  • Pan India (Excluding Northeast): The maximum permissible weight for each black metal box is 40 kg.
  • Northeast India: Due to logistical constraints, the maximum permissible weight for each black metal box is 35 kg.

If the weight of the metal box exceeds the limit mentioned above, additional charges will be applied. The excess weight will be calculated and billed according to the company’s standard rate for overweight items.

Charges for Overweight Items

  • If any black metal box exceeds the weight limit of 40 kg (Pan India) or 35 kg (Northeast India), the customer will be informed of the additional charges based on the extra weight.
  • The charges for overweight items will be calculated as per the prevailing rates at the time of shipment. The customer will be required to pay these additional charges before the shipment is processed.

Service Area

ITBP Transport offers services across India, including all major cities, towns, and remote locations, with specific provisions for transportation to the Northeast region.

Customer Responsibilities

  1. Proper Packaging
    Customers are responsible for ensuring that all items are properly packed and secured within the metal box or for household goods transport. ITBP Transport will not be responsible for any damages or losses resulting from improper packaging.
  2. Accurate Weight Declaration
    Customers must declare the weight of their metal boxes or household goods accurately at the time of booking. Any discrepancies in weight discovered upon shipment will result in additional charges, as outlined above.
  3. Clearance and Documentation
    Customers are required to provide all necessary clearance, permits, and documents as required for transportation, especially for specific goods that may require additional paperwork.
  4. Delivery Instructions
    Customers must ensure that accurate and complete delivery instructions are provided at the time of booking. Any incorrect or incomplete delivery information may lead to delays, additional charges, or inability to deliver the goods.

Payment Terms

  • Payments for services must be made in advance, or as otherwise agreed upon at the time of booking.
  • Additional charges for overweight items must be paid promptly upon notification of excess weight.

Liability

ITBP Transport will take all reasonable steps to ensure the safe and timely transportation of your goods. However, we are not responsible for:

  • Delays due to factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions, strikes, road closures, or force majeure events.
  • Damages caused by improper packaging of items or failure to comply with weight limits.

In the case of damage to goods during transportation, we will follow our claims process as described in our official policy.

Dispute Resolution

In case of any disputes arising from the use of ITBP Transport’s services, the matter will be resolved in accordance with the laws of India. Disputes will be referred to arbitration if necessary, and the decision made by the arbitrator will be final and binding.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

ITBP Transport reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to customers through the official website or via other channels of communication. By continuing to use our services after such changes, you agree to the modified terms and conditions.
